Games Day

Games Day was held on the last day of school, and I managed to get quite a few nice shots because of the nice, sunny weather. Almost typical of one of the photographers I watch on deviantART, http://scaber.deviantart.com. An inspiration of sorts, in a manner of speaking. Here are a bunch of random shots... Lovely greenery and sunlight.

Notice the focus on locks and barbs and fences. How insecure the human race has grown, such that we need to lock each other out...and lock ourselves in! How we cause distrust and fear among each other that we might resort to this. It's strange how we behave...how we have come to this. And all these standing so innocently in the sun...silent and bold, while the rust bubbles and blisters their painted surfaces until they crumble to nothing, or are replaced anew to lock our anxieties in.
